Ingredients

  • 2 – 15 ounce cans drained garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 cup roasted tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated minced lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup packed Italian parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • To taste, salt and fresh ground black pepper

Directions

Place garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, and green onion in the bowl of a food processor. Blend until smooth, adding water if the mixture is too thick. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
