Ingredients
- 20 ounces shelled edamame soybeans
- 1/2 ounce chopped garlic
- 1/2 ounce chopped ginger
- 1 each orange
- 6 Tablespoons canola salad oil
- 2 Tablespoons pure sesame seed oil
- 1 ounce whole sesame seeds
- 7/8 ounce brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon lite soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
Directions
Place edamame in 4 inch half pan. Steam 8 minutes or until soft. Place in blast chiller to cool.
Toast sesame seeds in combi-oven set to dry heat at 350 degrees
Juice orange.
In a food processor, measure and combine cooled edamame, garlic, ginger, orange juice, canola oil, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, brown sugar, soy sauce and water.
Finished product should have consistency of peanut butter. Smooth and creamy.
