- 7.2 pounds whole wheat elbows pasta
- 0.25 pound diced onions
- 1 pound diced green peppers
- 0.0625 pound kosher salt
- 0.0312 pound minced garlic
- 0.0156 pound Italian seasoning
- 0.0125 pound white ground pepper
- 5 pounds vegetarian sausage crumbles
- 0.25 cup soybean oil
- 2.5 pound vegan shredded cheddar cheeze
Directions
Precook macaroni al dente. Macaroni must be undercooked or finished product will be mushy.
Sauté meat substitute in tilt skillet with oil, garlic, onions and peppers.
Combine all ingredients except macaroni and vegan cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Mix in heated macaroni and portion into 2 inch hotel pan.
Top with vegan cheese bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
